The large studio building dates from the 18th century and has many original features that blend to create a unique atmosphere. We have developed a variety of acoustic environments so we can offer the perfect recording solution for your music. From the natural sound of the wooden floored, 30ft ceiling live space downstairs, to the acoustically treated vocal booth above the control room, each space has been created with the musician in mind.

We also have a fully treated, acoustically tight live area that offers enough room to set up a full band with plenty of routing options to ensure total separation between sound sources.

The studio is fully equipped offering 32 inputs through a Tascam DM4800 digital desk and Apogee converters into Pro Tools. Logic, Sonar and Digital Performer are also available. This is combined with outboard gear from Universal Audio, SSL and TL Audio. We have an extensive range of microphones from Neuman, AKG and Rode, among others.

We can also supply a range of vintage instruments and backline including guitar amps by Fender, Marshall and Vox, bass amps and various keys. In addition we can also provide vintage and modern drum kits from top manufactures such as Ludwig, Yamaha and Premier.

We have ample parking and the outside space at the studio offers breathtaking views of the Woolley Valley, so it’s a perfect place to take a break.

Our producers and engineers have worked at all levels of the music industry, from local favourites The Ten Pound Suit Band to international stars such as Leona Lewis. We have worked on a variety of musical styles, from traditional Arabian folk music to big production, commercial pop music. This means we can work with you on getting exactly the right sound for your music.

We can cater for solo acts and provide a backing track service, as well as big bands with multiple instruments. We have some great session musicians who we can call upon if you need them.

Not only do we have the experience and equipment to make your recordings shine, we can offer invaluable feedback and insight into your project to make sure it’s as good as it possibly can be.
